To the Lori Fund Family,
On February 21st, WE donated $100,000.00 to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation in Lori’s honor. WE pledged to keep Lori’s legacy alive by helping others, and YOUR generosity made this a reality. I cannot thank you enough for your contributions, support and volunteerism.
The Lori Fund mission is to support Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) and other veteran groups that sacrificed for our country.
We were honored to have General Hutmacher share the value provided to veterans and their families by organizations like SOWF and The Lori Fund, and humbled to have those sentiments echoed by Breanna Walters (who lost her Dad in 2003). As we continue to grow The Lori Fund, we will continue to help families of our hero’s.
This morning, our corporate sponsor Discovery World Furniture, received our third furniture giveaway request to help another family in the Special Operations community. Sgt. First Class Zachary Quick, lost his life October 2019 while assigned to the Army Special Operations Command. The Lori Fund and Discovery World Furniture will be providing a bedroom bunk set and entertainment dresser to his 12 year old daughter Carmelita Roper.
I am so touched by the overwhelming success of this event! Despite the weather on the golf course, you persevered. As General Hutmacher “granted” those who played, you are all Special Operators!
Mark your calendars, next year’s event is February 27th, 2021.
